Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains how Potion Lab: Brew Sort (the Android app com.scrn.brewsort.potionlab, the website potion-lab-brew-sort.web.app and the browser version published on web game portals) handles information. The game is made by an independent developer (“we”). Contact: gh89412197@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or contacts. Your game progress (level, coins, settings, daily streak) is stored only on your device.
Advertising (Android app)
The app shows ads using Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, and ad interactions. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent using Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. In US states with privacy laws (such as California), you can use the same Ad privacy choices button to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data for personalized ads. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android device settings. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
In-app purchases
The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment details. Google shares with the app only the purchase status needed to unlock the feature.
Daily reminders (Android app)
If you turn on the optional Daily reminder (Settings → Daily reminder), the app asks Android for permission to show notifications and schedules them on your device only. No notification data is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your Android settings at any time.
Website
The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google), which may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and delivery. The web version of the game stores progress in your browser's local storage and does not show ads.
To know how many people visit, each page view sends a small anonymous message to our own server with the page name, whether it is your first visit that day, and the website you came from (for example google.com). We only keep daily totals. We do not use cookies for this and we do not store your IP address or any ID that could identify you. The app does not send these messages.
Web game portals
The browser version may also be published on web game websites such as CrazyGames, Poki, GameDistribution and itch.io. There, your progress is still stored only in your browser's local storage, and our own visit counter is not used. Some of these websites show ads during or between levels (for example when you choose “Watch ad” for a reward) using their own advertising tools. That advertising and any data it uses are handled by the website you are playing on, under its own privacy policy and consent choices.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information for money. Ad data processed by Google AdMob may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Information is shared only with the service providers named above (Google AdMob, Google Play, Firebase Hosting) and our own server, which we run ourselves for the purposes described.
Data retention and deletion
Game progress stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear your browser storage. Because we hold no account data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete; you can contact us at any time with questions.
Children
The game is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with its “last updated” date.
